Middle School boys win championship

The Middle School Eagles brought home the conference title on Saturday, Feb. 2. 
The Middle School Eagles basketball team claimed the 2019 Tri-State Conference championship after defeating Tallulah Falls School 46-31 on Saturday, February 2. 
 
The boys advanced to the championship game at Highlands School by earning a semifinal win after NEXT Eagle Ridge forfeited. Rabun Gap finished undefeated (6-0) in the conference, with an overall 12-1 season record.
 
The team is coached by Chip Miller. Team members are eighth-graders Jack Barta, Luke Earnhardt, Brian He, Ben Mathews, and Dylan Overholt; seventh-graders Tyler Brown, Daniel Jones, Ephram Otey, Daniel Wu, and Sean Zavala; and sixth-graders Foster Duquette and Davis Hill.
