Top orchestra students chosen for Young Harris College High School Honor Band Clinic
Orchestra students were selected to participate in the Young Harris College Band Clinic
Five of Rabun Gap’s top orchestra members were selected to participate in an intensive band clinic at Young Harris College on January 18-19.
Muya Kahiga ‘19 (trumpet), Kacper Kuzimski ‘19 (alto saxophone), Harry Liu ‘20 (tuba), Simon Park ‘ 20 (flute) and Betty Li ‘20 (flute) joined other top-performing high schoolers from around the region for a two-day clinic under the direction of Dr. John Culvahouse.
The students had four intense rehearsals and attended two band concerts in 24 hours and the event culminated with a performance at the Glenn McGinnis Hall on Saturday evening.
