Rabun Gap students learn about careers in medicine at STEAM Seminar

Dr. Gober and Mr. Manuel Hazim shared their insights in the field of medicine with the Rabun Gap student body.  
Dr. Guy Gober, an urologist for 34 years in Tiger, GA, generously shared his time and insight into the field of medicine on Wednesday, May 2 during the final STEAM Seminar of the academic year.

The event was attended by over 25 Rabun Gap students who aspire a career in the field of medicine.

Dr. Gober was joined by his intern, Manuel Hazim, of Atlanta, who shared his experience with medical school prerequisites and applications. Several students will shadow Dr. Gober at work in the coming weeks.

“The science department thanks Dr. Gober for his time and the enthusiasm he showed for our students' futures in medicine,” said Paul Sperry the Chair of the Science Department at Rabun Gap.
