Rabun Gap students participate in Keep Rabun Beautiful

Students participate in community event to celebrate Earth Day Weekend.
Rabun Gap students volunteered at the Keep Rabun Beautiful cleanup on Saturday, April 21 in Clayton. The purpose of this community event was to celebrate Earth Day weekend by doing a spring litter pickup in Rabun County.

About 150 volunteers attended the event and picked up trash on the roadsides. Rabun Gap students picked up litter for three hours in downtown Clayton. Students did a great job making sure to pick up trash and were surprised by the amount collected.

Leah Grace Craig ‘19 donated a painting to Keep Rabun Beautiful. Her painting will be on display at Main Street Gallery during the month of May and then hung in the lobby of Rabun County Bank.
