Positive Athletes’ mission is to celebrate high school student-athletes and coaches who give back, are involved in their schools and communities, overcome difficult circumstances, and embody the Seven Definitions of a Positive Athlete:  an optimistic attitude, encouraging teammates, being a servant leader, showing heart for others, admitting imperfections, giving 100%, and putting the team first.

Athletics Director Dale Earnhardt believes Sally embodies the definition of a positive athlete.  "Sally always has an upbeat attitude and is a great role model for her teammates.  Her mild-mannered but very competitive nature are a huge contribution to the Eagles Tennis team and we're very proud of her accomplishments both on the court and off," Earnhardt said.

"It is very exciting and gratifying to be awarded this title. I feel as though all my hard work as an athlete has paid off," Bloom said.  She plans to pursue business and marketing degrees as she continues her educational journey at the next level.

Lead the Way, Sally!
