Middle School students shine at MADFest Auditions

Three Middle School performers earn spots in MADFest showcase on Friday, April 13
The results are in - three Middle School students have advanced to perform during the MADFest showcase on Friday, April 9.

Dustin Anderson ’22 (dance solo), Lucy Barry ’22 (vocal solo), and Morgan Mescher ’24 (dance solo) were announced as the top Middle School MADFest performers after auditions were held last week. They will be featured among our Upper School MADFest acts. Emily Cox ‘23 (dance solo) and Meg Bruner ‘23 (vocal solo) earned honorable mentions.

Students in grades 6-8 showcased their talents during auditions in the following categories: dance solo, vocal solo, cirque, vocal duet, instrumental solo, and drama. Upper School fine and performing arts faculty and four seniors —  Zoe Owens, Kendall Butler, Dorian Provencher, and Madi Albury — served as judges for the Middle School MADFest auditions.

The MADFest showcase is scheduled for 7:30 PM Friday, April 13 in the Rearden Theater. Upper School performers will audition for a spot in the showcase on Thursday, April 12.
