Rabun Gap soccer coach earns national certification
Coach Amani has earned the National C license from the United States Soccer Federation.
Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School soccer coach Sourosh Amani has earned the National C license from the United States Soccer Federation.
The U.S. Soccer National C License is a coaching education opportunity designed for coaches who work with advanced level of players 13-years-old and above in the 11 versus 11 (11v11) full-sized field environment. The course provides the right tools to help develop both the player and the team, as well as the coach.
Amani completed three months of work in the instructional, developmental, and evaluation phases to earn his license, traveling to training and testing in Charlotte. He also worked November through February on assignments related to coaching training sessions, coaching games, leading players, leading the team, managing a performance environment, and leadership.
"This is a great accomplishment by Coach Amani. He is certainly a huge asset to our soccer program,” said Athletic Director Dale Earnhardt.
