Eagles cheered on by fellow students on away game in Spartanburg, SC

Rabun Gap varsity basketball teams compete against Spartanburg Day
The Rabun Gap Varsity Basketball teams traveled to Spartanburg Day on Monday, February 5 to play the Griffins. The Eagles were cheered on by over 40 fellow students who travelled with pep buses to support their classmates. The Lady Eagles won an exciting game 44-40 over the Lady Griffins. The Eagles lost their match 86-65.

The highlight of the evening was seeing the #2 ESPN recruit and recent Duke commit, Zion Williamson, against our Varsity Eagles. Zion did not disappoint as he showed his spectacular skills throughout the night...as a passer, shot blocker, long range shooter, and monster dunker. The Eagles battled the Griffins for all four quarters and showed the fans their skills. The students and families had a great time watching the games.
