AP Environmental Science classes hear from Orianne Society

Presentation helps students understand endangered species
Dr. Chris Jenkins, CEO and Executive Director of the Orianne Society, recently visited AP Environmental Science classes to speak about endangered species. Students in APES have been studying conservation biology, so this was an opportunity to learn from an expert in the field.

The Orianne Society is a non-profit organization focused on rare reptile and amphibian conservation. Dr. Jenkins brought with him some live animals and students were able to get up close to some really cool endangered species.
