Rabun Gap had their 3 game win streak snapped when they traveled to play the High Point Christian Cougars.  Multiple Rabun Gap defensive miscues allowed the Cougars to score 5 times in the first inning and jump out to a big lead on Friday.  The Eagles cut the lead to 2-6 in the fifth inning when Jake Knowles doubled and Enrique Morales followed with a 2 run home run.  A strikeout with two runners on however, ended the Eagles’ threat.  Multiple hits combined with some more Rabun Gap misplayed balls allowed the Cougars to push across 6 more runs to end the game with a final score of 2-12.  Jordan Hajazin was the only repeat hitter for the Eagles with a double and a single.  Rabun Gap’s record is now 5-7 on the year.
