    provide a no-cost scholarship in 2023!
Do you pay Georgia income taxes? If so, then you can provide a GOAL scholarship for students at Rabun Gap at no cost to you.
Why doesn’t the scholarship cost me anything? You get a 100% tax credit, which means you either pay that much less in taxes, or get that much of an increase in your refund.

What if I own a business in Georgia? Then you may write off the GOAL amount as a business expense on your federal taxes and take a 100% state tax credit, possibly resulting in a financial benefit.

Why is GOAL vital for Rabun Gap? Due to the limited economic opportunities in our rural mountain setting and the demographic that we serve, the school has always depended on supporters, many of whom never had a family member here. More than 75% of our students receive aid versus the average of 19% for independent schools. GOAL scholarships help!
We like the Tax Credit program because it lets us direct some of our Georgia income taxes to provide important scholarship funds to Georgia students who attend Rabun Gap.
