Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School's commitment to the character development of students does not end with the school bell, and the Rabun Gap experience extends well beyond the classroom doors. In an effort to promote student well-being, the School's After School Activities program provides students the chance to explore new horizons, develop their talents, and make friends in other classes as they play soccer, paddle in Indian Lake, act as stewards to our beautiful surroundings, or learn to balance on air through a Cirque troupe.
Opportunities for students to explore a passion or venture into a new area are endless…from outdoor recreation, fitness, and competitive athletics to a more artistic activity in dance, music, dramatic productions, Cirque, and studio art. Rabun Gap also has a strong commitment to service, providing students opportunities to participate in the Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) or locally through our Community Service program, or in our own campus community through the Rabun Gap Work Program.
With the school year divided into three seasons, students have multiple opportunities to explore all areas – work, activity, and sports. Rabun Gap's After School Activities strengthen the mind, body, and spirit of students and fosters teamwork and responsibility. Just as important, these activities provide fun and relaxation after a day indoors.
