Making a decision about a new school involves a lot more than academics.  And if you’re thinking about a boarding school, location and the activities available to you also become major factors.

At Rabun Gap, all students -- including day and boarding -- are required to participate in an after school activity.  This requirement results in an active and vibrant community life that offers a wide variety of clubs and activities.  From afternoon activities, to community service, to leadership, clubs, and off-campus adventures, Rabun Gap provides a wealth of opportunities for student growth outside the classroom.

The Community Life section is designed to help you get acquainted with our community and to help you envision how you will Lead the Way at Rabun Gap.

"Rabun Gap does a great job in teaching and providing students with ways to give back to the community.  During my four years here, I've distributed food to families through the Rabun Gap Presbyterian Food Distribution program, I've helped raised money for disaster relief efforts in Haiti, Japan, Zambia, and Sudan.

What always surprises me is that no matter how much extra work it takes to get these initiatives underway, Rabun Gap students are always smiling and willing to go above and beyond."
