Logan King joins the Upper School humanities department
Logan King will teach humanities at the Upper School and help coach our volleyball and lacrosse teams.
Mr. King comes to Rabun Gap from the Winchendon School in Massachusetts where he taught humanities and was the head coach for the volleyball and boys lacrosse teams. He has taught internationally in China, South Korea, Hungary, India, and Kyrgyzstan. He holds an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Concordia University and a B.A. in History from Roanoke College. Prior to entering education, he was a wilderness guide and maritime welder.
In his spare time, Mr. King enjoys trail running, playing guitar, and hiking with his wife and dog. He will live in Coit with his wife, Ala, and will serve as the dorm head.
