Rabun Gap Honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

"The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education." - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Monday, January 18, all divisions honored the life, work, and legacy of Dr. King through videos and class discussions. With the inspiration from Dr. King, students and faculty shared the many different ways they can make a difference in the world.

Each of our Lower School classes learned to "speak like a King" by coming up with a few sentences on how they can make a difference.  Our Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Mr. Mason West created a video containing the statements from each class.  The video can be viewed here.
Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School is a private, coeducational day and boarding school for grades Pre-K through 12. Centrally located between Atlanta, GA, Greenville, SC, and Asheville, NC, we prepare young people for college, career, and a lifetime of leadership and service.
