We live, learn, and celebrate together because at Rabun Gap, community life is the heartbeat of our school. Our vibrant campus life is filled with opportunities to connect and make memories in a place that feels like home.
Community Day
A kick-off to the new school year, Community Day brings families, students, faculty, and staff together for a fun Saturday of games, food, and fellowship on our practice fields.
Halloween Parade
Our campus is full of superheroes, monsters, TV characters, and more as all three divisions get into the Halloween Spirit. Early Learning and Lower School students parade through the courtyard in their costumes while parents, faculty, staff, and Upper School students cheer them on!
Homecoming
Homecoming is one of the biggest community celebrations of the year at Rabun Gap! The whole school gets in on the fun with pep rallies, Spirit Week dress-up days, and plenty of campus excitement that includes alumni. We wrap it all up on Friday night with the big football game, the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen, and an epic fireworks show.
Christmas on Campus
The Christmas season at Rabun Gap is filled with joyful traditions—gingerbread houses, dorm decorating, festive showcases, and service projects. Our signature event, Lux Nativitas, unites the whole community to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
International Festivals & Celebrations
We honor our global community throughout the year, with celebrations including Lunar New Year, French Week, and Hispanic Heritage Month. The Upper School hosts International Week each year, with dozens of student-led events highlighting global cuisine, music, fashion, and traditions.
Applied Learning Summit
The Applied Learning Summit is where creativity, collaboration, and hands-on discovery shine. Students from Early Learning to 12th grade showcase year-long projects to peers from all divisions—bringing the whole school together to celebrate innovation and real-world problem solving.

Rabun Gap+
Our afterschool enrichment program, Rabun Gap+, offers group classes and private lessons in dance and music, athletic clinics, and a full slate of summer camps, all open to Rabun Gap students and the general public!
