Rabun Gap Boys Lacrosse is a values-driven, competitive program designed to develop student-athletes of character, discipline, and ambition. Through elite competition and intentional mentorship, players grow as leaders who are prepared for success in college and beyond.

Rapid Program Ascension: In just four varsity seasons, the program has emerged as a Top 4 team in its league, reaching the state semifinals and earning a Top 50 ranking in the South.
College Pathway: 10+ alumni currently competing in collegiate lacrosse, with additional graduates excelling in collegiate football programs.
Elite Individual Recognition: Home to Rabun Gap’s first Boys Lacrosse All-American (Ty Wilson ’25), along with multiple All-State selections.
Year-Round Development Model:
- Fall: Skill-based training emphasizing footwork, stick skills, and balance with academics and campus life
- Winter: Strength, speed, conditioning, and mental preparation
- Spring: 15–20 game schedule against top programs in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia
Balanced Excellence: Athletes are challenged to represent their communities with integrity, graduate with distinction, and compete relentlessly.

Meet Our Coach

Coach Josh Schwartz leads our boys lacrosse program as Head Coach. He joined the program in 2026, after coaching at Christ School and helping them win a state championship. For nearly a decade, Coach Schwartz coached at the NCAA Division II and Division III levels. As the Associate Head Lacrosse Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Catawba College, he specialized in roster building and player development, leading the team to multiple victories over nationally-ranked Top 20 opponents. He has also coached at Coker College, Young Harris College, and Greensboro College, alongside elite regional club programs like Team 91 South and Team Carolina.
