Rabun Gap Boys Lacrosse is a values-driven, competitive program designed to develop student-athletes of character, discipline, and ambition. Through elite competition and intentional mentorship, players grow as leaders who are prepared for success in college and beyond.

Rapid Program Ascension: In just four varsity seasons, the program has emerged as a Top 4 team in its league, reaching the state semifinals and earning a Top 50 ranking in the South.
College Pathway: 10+ alumni currently competing in collegiate lacrosse, with additional graduates excelling in collegiate football programs.
Elite Individual Recognition: Home to Rabun Gap’s first Boys Lacrosse All-American (Ty Wilson ’25), along with multiple All-State selections.
Year-Round Development Model:
- Fall: Skill-based training emphasizing footwork, stick skills, and balance with academics and campus life
- Winter: Strength, speed, conditioning, and mental preparation
- Spring: 15–20 game schedule against top programs in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia
Balanced Excellence: Athletes are challenged to represent their communities with integrity, graduate with distinction, and compete relentlessly.

Meet Our Coach

Coach Ryne Linsley is the founding Head Coach of Rabun Gap Boys Lacrosse and has led the program since its inception. Coaching since 2008, Coach Linsley brings a deeply rooted, values-based approach that emphasizes character, leadership, and lifelong growth alongside competitive excellence. Under his leadership, the program has quickly risen to regional prominence while maintaining a strong focus on academic success and personal development. Coach Linsley is passionate about mentoring young men to lead with integrity on the field, in the classroom, and in their communities.
