Media Credential Request

Rabun Gap welcomes jounalists and other members of the media covering Eagles athletics. To support event operations, protect our student-athletes, and ensure a safe environment on the sidelines, all media must adhere to the following guidelines: 

• Access to sidelines, team spaces, press boxes, and restricted venues requires prior authorization from Rabun Gap Athletics. Unapproved and uncredentialed personnel will not be permitted on the sidelines or in restricted zones.
   

• Priority is given to established news organizations, sportswriters, recognized recruiting outlets, and official school partners. Rabun Gap reserves the right to review press credentials, media assignments, and intended content distribution. Approved media will pick up their pass at the front gate, and should return passes to the front gate table after the game. 
   

• Possessing professional photography equipment, a business entity, or credentials from other organizations does not guarantee access on our campus. Photographers or videographers contracted by individual families or student-athletes are strictly prohibited from sideline/restricted access unless granted formal, advance authorization by the School.
   

• Credentialed media must remain outside the team bench area at all times. When moving across the sideline, media members must navigate behind the team bench areas, staying clear of coaches and players. Credentials do not grant access to locker rooms, athletic training facilities, team benches, or the playing surface during game action.
   

• Media presence must never impede gameplay, obstruct official site operations, or create safety hazards. All personnel must follow the instructions of Rabun Gap staff, security, and contest officials, as well as applicable NCISAA and conference regulations.
   

• A standard sideline credential does not authorize live-streaming, full-game video broadcasts, or commercial redistribution of content. Supplemental clearance is required for broadcast rights. Flash photography is strictly prohibited during play.
   

• Sideline access is subject to spatial capacity and venue layout. Credentials are non-transferable, assigned per event, and subject to immediate revocation for policy non-compliance, unsportsmanlike behavior, or failure to follow event staff direction.
