WHERE LEARNING MEETS ADVENTURE

At Rabun Gap, our 1,400-acre campus is more than a backdrop; it's a classroom waiting to be explored.

Our expansive campus and the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains offer an unparalleled environment for discovery and hands-on learning across all grade levels. From Lower School nature walks to advanced Upper School environmental studies, our students are constantly immersed in the natural world around them.

Study water quality in Betty's Creek. Hike part of the Appalachian Trail. Create art with colorful leaves. Kayak across our on-campus lake. Work with partners to improve sustainability in the local community. There are so many ways to experience learning in nature at Rabun Gap.

Outdoor Program

Upper School students have the opportunity to explore in our Outdoor Program as an afternoon activity. Led by faculty with a passion for adventure, students are exposed to including canoeing and kayaking at our on-campus lake, climbing the campus climbing tower, hiking on area trails, mountain biking, and camping!
