List of 1 items.

  • Join us for a two-day institute

    on October 28-29, 2021!
This intensive training on the campus focuses on the inner workings of independent schools for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). It will be held on the beautiful campus of Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School.

About the Training

There are spaces in the independent school world that few ever have the opportunity to engage in because they believe their talent, skills, and experience can only take them so far. We want to show you just how far you can go if exposed to some critical information:
  • How do boards of trustees work to create strategic visions?
  • How do executive teams translate strategic visions into strategic plans?
  •  How are financial frameworks and systems designed and maintained?
  • How are endowments structured, managed, and grown?
  • How can you build, fund, and sustain prolific programs, curriculums, and systems?
Mr. Mason West will lead the BIPOC Training Institute. He serves as Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School and has more than two decades of experiece working in independent schools and leadership organizations around the globe.
