Rabun Gap won its first round NCISAA tournament game against Charlotte Christian 68-52. The Eagles came out very flat against heavy pressure from the Knights and trailed 19-9 at the end of the first quarter. However, starting in the 2nd quarter, The Eagles outscored the Knights 59-33 to claim the victory. The Eagles had contributions from multiple players. Embry-Riddle commit Luka Majstorovic came up huge, scoring 14 points and tallying a season high 18 rebounds. Freshman Adama Kpaan scored a season high 21 points to go along with 9 rebounds and 2 steals. Junior Kenneth Hines had 17 points, 4 assists, and a steal. Freshman Abba Wague continued his hot shooting, scoring 11 points, while shooting 50% from behind the arc. The Eagles will now travel to Asheville to take on nationally ranked and #1 seed Wesleyan Christian. They will play Thursday at 11:30 at Christ School.
